Shallot and Garlic Cream

This recipe is similar to the recipe from  Chef steps in Seattle as they made it with regular onions.  They have online learning and are extremely valuable if you need help with anything.  They are located at Pike Place market however they only sell stuff online.

This cream is lovely with no dairy in it.  It really packs a punch.  I served it with ham but you can use it as a dip, spread it on bread etc.  Lots of flavour!!!!!

Roast 750g shallots and 2 whole cloves of garlic with olive oil, salt and pepper for 35 minutes at 350F until golden.
Place in Thermomix and blend(after removing skins) with 1 T olive oil, 1T water, 1T lemon, salt and pepper to taste. Blend speed 8/1minute. YUM.
