Returning recently from Germany and eating all the wonderful things, we made these dumplings to go along with our wild deer goulash. They are great with any roasted meat and gravy.
5 day old buns (250g) put in bowl and mix 8 seconds/speed 5- set aside
1/2 bundle parsley
salt/pepper to taste
nutmeg pinch or to taste
Onions and parsley in bowl. 7 seconds/speed 5 Scrape down.
Add butter 3minutes/varoma/speed 1
Add milk 1min 30 sec/ 60C/speed 1
Add crumbled buns eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg blend 10 sec/BREAD dough until mixed
Wet hands and roll into dumplings.
Place in both Varoma trays as they expand slightly.
Add 600 g water and steam 35 min/Varoma/speed 1
Serve with your favourite sauce!
